At the end of the Mission

The reason why we sent Galileo out to Jupiter is so that we could find out more information about the planet. We wanted an up close and personal view of this planet. Have you ever seen a person walking their dog and you walked toward them to get a good look at the dog? Well that's exactly what we did to Jupiter. We were able to find out all new information from this mission that we probably wouldn't be able to learn if this mission didn't take place. We found that that Jupiter is drier, there was lightning on the planet, there was winds as strong as 450Mph. That's faster and stronger than anything on earth. Also that the Planet is very hot.
